Registered Dietitian and Health Coach, Hill Country Lifestyle Medicine

  

Priya strongly believes in the power of food and lifestyle choices as tools to help manage and alleviate many of the chronic diseases. She finds her professional purpose in helping patients connect the dots between knowing what to do to take care of their health and actually implementing the practitioner & patient-led collaborative changes in their everyday lives. She employs behavior/practice-based approach to build healthy habits in your lives, one practice at a time, one day at a time, so that you can see sustainable results in your health markers. It takes intentional choice, commitment, courage, and consistency to make lifestyle changes and as a dietitian-coach, she will walk side-by-side with you as you gain confidence in making the changes.

Priya’s personal journey with wellness started back in 2014 when she had to make some major lifestyle changes to take care of various medical diagnoses. She has been helping people with the pillars of healthy life – Nutrition, sleep, movement, and managing stress since 2017. She walks the talk and backs it all up with an evidence-based exceptional knowledge base. Priya is a Registered Dietitian, certified Lifestyle Medicine coach from American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and certified Health & Wellness coach. She earned her PhD from the University of Texas. She completed her dietetics training at University of Alabama and Baptist Health System.

Priya enjoys doing CrossFit & yoga to maintain her health and lives a healthy, happy, and successful Texan lifestyle with her husband and son.
